Mary Immaculate, our Mother and our Patroness,
we ask you to intercede for us with your Son,
as you did at the wedding in Cana.
Pray for us, loving Mother,
and gain for our diocese, our nation and our world,
for our families and loved ones,
the protection of your Maternal mantle from this dreaded virus.
In this time of trial and testing,
teach all of us to love one another and to be patient and kind.
Help us to bring the peace and healing Presence of Jesus to our land and to our hearts.
We come to you with confidence,
knowing that you are our compassionate mother,
health of the sick and cause of our joy.
Keep us in the embrace of your arms,
Help us always to know the love of your Son, Jesus our Lord.
AMEN.
TIPS ON HOW TO SPOT SPOOFING OR PHISHING SCAM EMAILS: A Reminder from the IT Director
There has been an increase in the number of Spoofing or Phishing emails throughout the diocese. Email spoofing is an email message with a forged header (from) address. The message appears to have originated from a legitimate or familiar source. It is often used to trick people into providing information, giving money, or infecting your computer with a virus. The following are some tips on how to spot a spoofing or phishing email:
- Don’t trust the display name.
- Verify the “from email address”.
- Check for grammatical or spelling mistakes within the email;
- Look at the salutation;
- Never provide personal, bank or credit card information in an email; The Diocese, Priests and others will never ask for money or personal information.
- Beware of urgent or threatening language in subject line;
- Don’t click on attachments or a link;
- Don’t reply to a suspect email;
- If you are unsure, contact ifawcett@rcdony.org or call the person or send them a new email to the address that you have in your contacts

WALKING WITH MOMS IN NEED: A YEAR OF SERVICE: A Prayer for Pregnant Mothers
Bishop LaValley, along with the other bishops of the United States, is encouraging the people of the Diocese of Ogdensburg to participate in Walking with Moms in Need: A Year of Service.
https://www.walkingwithmoms.com/
This program aims at highlighting the pregnant and parenting moms in our parishes, identifying resources available within local communities, and connecting these women to the resources they need.
While our normal routine and activities have been disrupted, one thing that we can do is pray. Won’t you please join in praying for pregnant and parenting moms every day.
A Prayer for Pregnant Mothers:
O Blessed Mother, you received the good news of the incarnation of Christ, your Son, with faith and trust. Grant your protection to all pregnant mothers facing difficulties.
Guide us as we strive to make our parish communities places of welcome and assistance for mothers in need. Help us become instruments of God’s love and compassion.
Mary, Mother of the Church, graciously help us build a culture of life and a civilization of love, together with all people of good will, to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and lover of life. Amen.

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP:
(for the June 13/14 Bulletin)
Don’t Miss - In these days when concerts and fireworks are cancelled, and amusement parks closed, don’t miss what God is offers daily; in early mornings a chorus of bird songs and other insects; on clear nights fireworks of stars and planets that can take our breath away; during the day amusement with the antics of animals in our backyards or in TV nature channels. What entertainment abounds!

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP:
(for the June 20/21 Bulletin)
Getting to Know Our Neighbors - During this time of reduced travel have you gotten to know any of your neighbors better? These "neighbors" may be the people next door or they may be the ones in your own backyard. Often we may not have taken time to notice the variety of trees, the tiny wild flowers or the animals that call this place their "neighborhood," too. Jesus noticed many wonders of His Father’s creation and through them He taught us lessons about life. Why not take a walk today and see what you notice? What lessons might they have to teach you?
PLANNED GIVING: Appreciate Offertory Support
Bishop LaValley, our pastors and the Development Office are so grateful of the continued support during this COVID-19 pandemic isolation. Parish Offertory envelopes are being mailed, dropped off and gifts on-line (where offered), It’s Our Church, It’s Our Future Capital Campaign and Bishop’s Fund Appeal gifts and pledge payments continue to come in via mail and on-line as well. As we have not been able to gather together to share our faith, the continued support to stay spiritually engaged and the continued generous financial support from parishioners throughout the Diocese of Ogdensburg has been both noticed and appreciated.
These are parish and other local events that may be of interest to your parishioners. If you would like to share them in your parish bulletin, you can simply cut and paste the text under the "Description."
